In the early hours of Monday, the 13th of December, 2021 a massive fire outbreak occurred at an office complex of Spectrum Phones Limited at the popular Computer Village Ikeja, Lagos, and destroyed property worth millions of Naira, leaving owners in disperse and paranoia.
According to sources, the fire broke out at 3 a.m. inside the shopping complex on 18, Otigba Street in Ikeja.
A source, the firm’s Human Resources Manager, confirmed the occurrence, telling The Guardian Newspaper that luckily the police and firefighters were on the scene on time and were able to terminate the fire before it spread to the whole complex.
They were unable to determine the source of the incident, although it began in our bulk office, where they stored packaged items for several states in which they had branches, in various regions.
